In 2016 hebben de leden van de Fietsersbond geld ingezameld om organisaties uit ontwikkelingslanden in staat te stellen om Velo-city bij te wonen. De Fietsersbond vindt het belangrijk dat zij de mogelijkheid krijgen om kennis en ervaring op te doen en het fietsen promoten in hun eigen land.
We verwachten dat we 10 mensen financieel kunnen ondersteunen met een bijdrage voor hun ticket, huisvesting en toegangsentree voor Velo-city.
Geïnteresseerde organisaties kunnen ondersteuning aanvragen d.m.v. aanmeldformulier (contactgegevens, motivatie en CV).
Het aanvraagformulier moet vóór vrijdag 27 januari naar [email protected] worden verstuurd.
Een Nederlandse jury zal de kandidaten selecteren. Onderdeel van de criteria is een goed onderbouw actieplan. Eind februari is de uitslag bekend.
In 2016 the members of the Fietsersbond have gathered funds to enable organizations from developing countries (as listed by the World Bank) to visit Velo-city 2017. It is very important that everyone can acquire and spread knowledge about how to promote cycling in their home countries. Fietsersbond will support 10 people with a financial contribution to their travel tickets, lodging and the registration costs of Velo-city.
You can apply for a grant from these funds by filling in an application form. A Dutch jury will select candidates who are eligible for funding based mainly on their plan for dissemination of their Velo-city experience in their home countries. Part of the criteria is a well described action plan.
Please note: the application forms should be sent to [email protected] no later than Friday 27th January 2017. All applicants will receive the jury’s decision no later than 27th February 2017.
